A couple new cards!

Wow, it’s been almost a week since my last post…. bad, bad me! But I have been doing some crafting, I made a new hybrid card for my hubby and I made my first all traditional card! It was kinda weird not using anything digitally created on it… lol. But it was fun. I also made something else last week, but it’s being showcased in my monthly hybrid article at DigiScrapChat so you’re not getting anymore info on it until it gets posted! So do you want to see the cards I made? Ok, here they are!

DiamondFold_pink  Here’s my all traditional card, I made it for a challenge on the Paper Crafts Magazine forum. It was fun making a folded card, and even my DD wanted to make one! So I folded some more paper for her and let her decorate it any way she wanted. Here’s her card:

DiamondFold_AllyMade  Isn’t it cute? She picked out the flowers and I layered them and added a glue dot for her. Then she picked out a word thingy that she has a bunch of, she chose the word laugh because she wants me to laugh every time I see it (isn’t that cute?). Then she covered it in Strawberry Shortcake stickers… lol.

Here’s the card I made for my hubby for our anniversary that’s coming up (in one week!).

IMG_0008_2 I used some pretty brown ribbon, silver stickles to add sparkle, and I made some pretty snowflakes with my new Cuttlebug that my hubby got me for Christmas. Digitally I used Zoe Pearn’s Winter Wishes kit and her Build Your Own Label template set. I made the card with a winter theme since we were married in January and had a winter wedding with a focus on snowflakes in our decorating. And I can use the same design for any occasion, so I will be making up a few more later with nothing on the label so that I can customize it with rubons anytime I need a general card.

Well, that’s it for now! I’ll let you know when Char publishes my article featuring my hybrid framed art project that I made last week ;-)

Until then, how about you tell me…

What hybrid project is on your must try list this year?

Great cards! Your daughter’s is super-cute!

Hybrid, hmmm?? I guess I really need to get some of these LOs into some boardbooks. Not truly hybrid, but about as close as I get. LOL

    Have a great day!
