A Handmade Christmas!
Hi everyone! Did you like yesterday’s recipes? I have a couple more new recipes to scrap, hopefully I’ll get those done for you next week. Right now I’m so busy! Between Christmas parties, baking and crafting, having to stay with my DD at school (she’s not liking it at all, I’m having to stay with her the whole morning - which is all she’s there for, 2 mornings/week *sigh*, I’m getting tired of this… I need some me time!). So things are busy.
But I thought I’d take the time to show you a couple of the crafting projects that I’ve finished. These are all Christmas gifts that I’ve made this year
Here they are:
This is an album I made for my mom for Christmas, it features photos of her with my DD through the years since my DD was born almost 4 yrs ago now. The top is one side, the bottom is the other side. I also made one for my in-laws using photos of them with my DD.
Created using a quickpage album set (no longer available) made from Kristin Cronin-Barrow’s Natural Beauty kit.
These are little paper purses that I made, each one contains one of my Post-it notebooks and a custom-made to match pen. These are gifts for my DD’s teacher, and the 3 class helpers.
- Purses were created using: Bo Bunny “Believe Crystals” paper; Shiny white cardstock; Stickles (Icicle); Large crystal brad; Mini rustic brads; Ribbon; small Velcro circles; Digital (printed) tree from Shabby Princess’ Seasonal Sampler, white paper flowers.
- The tags were created using a graphics set from PC Crafters called Santa’s Helpers by Shelly Comiskey and LD Artist’s Intent font.
And here’s my finished Christmas card. It was created using Jingle Baby by Kristin-Cronin Barrow & Meg Mullens; I also used a mini brad on the tag and some pretty green ribbon I had.
Well, that’s it for homemade Christmas items so far! Did you make any Christmas gifts/cards this year? Link me up!
