Layout Recipe #74 – Together

This week’s layout is one that I found while browsing the gallery at The Sweet Shoppe, it’s by designerbrittney and is entitled Together! This layout caught my eye with the beautiful bright colours. I love the hanging clips, and that date stamp is a great way to record the date inconspicuously! I also love the photo, shots from behind are some of my faves! What was your inspiration for the layout’s theme or design?

Well – it was a template, one of the cookies from here at SSD. So I took the basic template design and went from there. As you can tell I pulled all my colors directly from the photo. I always like to coordinate my pages to match the photos to create an overall cohesive look.

What special techniques/actions/effects did you use if any in creating the layout?

No special actions or anything like that. I always pay special attention to my shadowing and make sure it looks just right. I tend to use Flergs’ free action styles a lot.
