Top 5 Scrapbook Articles – last month

I recently read an article that was along the same lines at Scraps of Mind and thought what a great idea it was! So today I’m linking you up to this past month’s top 5 articles based on the number of views they have had since August 8th. Here they are:

1. Hybrid Hookup ~ Tree Ornaments This article is my blog’s top article of all time! Check it out for homemade tree ornament inspiration, tutorial links and template links too! I’m also planning on trying my hand at making some this year, so you can look for an updated version of this article with images of my own ornaments some time early in December. It will be a special article, as I will be doing some 2 part articles with inspiration on mine and links to tutorials and templates on the second one which will be published on…. the DigiScrapChat blog! I will be doing monthly 2 part articles on hybrid projects starting this week! I can’t wait to start working with Char from DigiScrapChat!
2. Layout Recipe #15 ~ Happiness is This is an absolutely beautiful Layout Recipe article, one that is found regularly by people searching for “happiness”. I hope you all find it, I know that this layout definitely makes me feel happy!
3. Favorite things ~ Food graphics for recipe scrapping! This is one of my fave articles on my blog, and one that is linked to often by readers of my blog! If you’re looking to start scrapbooking your recipes this is definitely a great place to start as I’ve linked up to many different graphic sets, kits and even a set of templates to make your recipe scrapping just a bit easier!
4. Wedding Album Layout Ideas This is a great reference article for anyone scrapbooking a wedding album. I wrote it to give myself a list of layout ideas to refer to while scrapbooking my own wedding album. It also includes a handful of pages from my own wedding album.
5. Hybrid Hookup ~ Calendars This is another great article, though sadly it is very outdated now. Many of the links don’t work any more as designers remove products such as this soon after the new year. I do plan on writing an updated version early in November as another 2 part article with the second being posted on DigiScrapChat’s blog. I’d love to do it now, however the designers of these sorts of products are just starting to put the 2009 versions into their stores. So I’ll just give them a little more time before updating this article.

And I feel I just have to give an honourable mention to one more article, that was just barely beat out by the fifth place article in my list…

• Hybrid Hookup ~ Recipe books! This is a wonderful article that I wrote with tons of ideas for what to do with all those scrapped recipes once they’re printed! It is often viewed by people clicking on a link in a guest post I wrote for Scraps of Mind called Scrapbooking your Recipes… an article that made it to 8th place on Karen’s top 10 list!
