Layout Recipe #67 – You can come to me

This week’s layout is one that I found while browsing the gallery at Digi Shop Talk, it’s by Hanne79 and is entitled You can come to me! This layout caught my eye with it’s soft colours, the amazing blending and the beautiful clustering. The photo and journaling blending was done so well, it’s really one of the things I love about digital layouts when done well as this one is. Please feel free to click on the image and leave this talented scrapper some praise!

Ingredients List:

What was your inspiration for the layout’s theme or design?

My inspiration for this layout was the picture. I have scrapped it before, it was actually one of the first layouts I ever did. I just love the picture, and always wanted to re-scrap it. I came over this challenge at shabbypickledesign and it was just perfect. The challenge was to use a lyric from a song in the layout. And it all came together perfect.

What special techniques/actions/effects did you use if any in creating the layout?

I used blending-techniques on the photo. I duplicated the photo many times, and used different blending modes.

Thank you to my readers for checking out my blog today, I hope this layout has inspired you to mix and match some great products, and stretch your creativity! Please click on the layout above and leave this great scrapper some love!
