Layout Recipe #66 – Take it from me…

This week’s layout is one that I found while browsing the gallery at Digi Shop Talk, it’s by babycake and is entitled Take it from me…! I love the bright beautiful colours of this layout with the white background! It looks so fresh and fun! This scrapper has amazing talent, can you believe this is only her 6th layout ever create?! What was your inspiration for the layout’s theme or design?

This layout was actually for a word challenge at SSD and i had to base my layout on the phrase ‘Take it from me’ and for me, the first thing that came into my mind was colour. I love colourful designs so I used my love of colour in the layout and the phrase too!

What special techniques/actions/effects did you use if any in creating the layout?

…well actually this was only my 6th layout ever so was still learning at this point. But I touched up on my shadowing and used a colour action on the photo I actually created myself.
