Tasty Thursday ~ Banana bread

Hey everyone! I’m not a big fan of bananas, to be honest I won’t usually touch anything with bananas in it… lol. But my DD loves bananas so I went in search of a recipe for banana bread, I always have bananas that are going a little too dark and mushy since my DD’s the only one who eats them. I wanted something that would be moist, and with a little spice to it. I never really found anything though. So I took my MIL’s recipe and just added the spices that I wanted in it, and I also changed the white granulated sugar that the recipe called for and used brown sugar instead. This gives it a very moist and flavourful banana bread that even I ate a bit of. So I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family does! Click image for a larger view!

So…I LOVE bananas but I don’t don’t like things w/chunks of bananas in it…like banana pudding. However I do like banana bread since the bananas are mushed beyond recognition but the banana flavor remains. Weird, I know.
I’ll be bookmarking this one to try…sounds yummy! Thanks for sharing!
