Layout Recipe #51 ~ Mommy & Me

This week’s layout is one I found while browsing the Sweet Shoppe gallery, it’s by rainydays aka Shannon and is entitled Mommy & Me! This layout is simply beautiful, I love the effect she put on the photo (definitely going to have to give it a try sometime!) and I just love the title! Please feel free to click on the image and leave this talented scrapper some praise!

What was your inspiration for the layout’s theme or design?

Inspiration for creating the page LO wise was the spin a lift that I did it for! obviously, LOL!! And I wanted to make it soft and sweet for the photo of my daughter and I yesterday on mothers day! She is my inspiration for all things that I do! My special girl!

What special techniques/actions/effects did you use if any in creating the layout?

I don’t think there was any special actions umm.. the photo I turned sepia and put a glow action on it (just done thru Picasa)…all elements except a few have a drop shadow and a outer glow.

Thank you to my readers for checking out my blog today, I hope this layout has inspired you to mix and match some great products, and stretch your creativity! Please click on the layout above and leave this great scrapper some love!
