It’s my bloggy birthday!

Happy birthday to my blog, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to my blog!

Woohoo! I’ve now had this blog for an entire year! Now that doesn’t mean I’ve only been blogging for 1 year, I’ve tried a few different blogs for a couple years before using WordPress. But none of the other options gave me as much customizing abilities as I like to have, so when I found WordPress I knew I had found my match! And when I found Windows Live Writer (an amazing program that allows you to write your posts offline, then publish when ready!) I knew I wasn’t going anywhere!

I’ve changed my header often, as I like change… I’ve changed my blog’s template a few times too in search of something user-friendly, appealing to the eye and easy to customize. This one I think will be here for a while as I just love it!

One of my new year’s resolutions was to be a guest blogger at least once for someone, and thanks to Karen (karooch) of Scraps Of Mind I was able to cross it off my list! And it hasn’t stopped! I’ve been invited to write for Daisie Co’s blog, and am having a blast over there making new friends… you won’t believe how friendly they are over there till you introduce yourself and start joining in! I’ve also been invited to write for another amazing blog with some amazing ladies! Deanna of Domestic Chicky has asked me to write some digital scrapping posts for the Blissfully Domestic blog! So look for some new stuff from me over there soon!

Another new year’s resolution I made was to have my reader numbers to reach 200 by the end of the year! And thanks to all of you wonderful readers my numbers are climbing slowly but surely! I’ve reached as high as 132, so keep spreading the word about my blog friends ’cause reaching 200 will surely be a reason to celebrate big again!

And last but surely not least is my announcement of who won the free Recipe Scrapping Services (for 10 cards!)!  I wrote all the entrants’ names on little papers, put them in a little purse that my DD has and let her pick a name! And the winner is…………………………………………. katieangelamber! Congrats! And thank you to everyone who submitted questions for me! I’ll get started on answering them all soon!
