Tasty Thursday ~ Meatloaf!

Ok, I know.. meatloaf?! Well, this is a “Boston Market” meatloaf recipe and it is tasty, moist and never fails for me. It’s a bit of work, mixing the sauce, then before it’s finished you slice it and pour the sauce over top before putting it back in the oven to finish cooking. But it’s so yummy, and I’m not much of a meat person…. lol. So here’s the recipe, I made it a two-pager. Friends have mentioned that they find my font sizes a bit too small, so I’m trying to go with a larger font but that means having to use 2 cards in order to get an entire recipe on there (unless it’s a really short recipe). Ok, here it is!

Now I know it looks a little simple, and that’s because I was testing out my process for scrapping recipes for other people. I’m still working out the kinks of it all but I’m getting ready to start my own Scrap4Hire business specializing in recipe cards. I’ve made myself several templates to make the process a bit quicker, I’ve decided that once I make the leap and actually do this I’ll be using Lie’s journaling papers so I’ll be buying her Commercial License soon too. I also have several kits now that are Scrap4Hire friendly in my arsenal, I think I have my pricing decided on, I have business cards made up (printed myself), and I’m almost done with my services pamphlet. I just need to make a couple changes to it, and I’m thinking of doing up a basic webpage with the info too. We’ll see. So that’s what I’m busy working on behind the scenes of this blog… lol.

So does anyone have any suggestions for me? Tips, tricks, advice?  I’d sure appreciate any help you might be willing to part with. :-)

Have a happy scrappy day friends!

I love, Love, LOVE the recipe cards!! Very tasteful and not too cluttered. The cards let the recipe be the star, but they really enhance the show.

Ooh, this sounds yummy. Like you, I am not a great meat eater, but I do love a good meatloaf! Love your layout too – very nicely done! I shall test this out sometime soon. Thanks so much hun.
