Tasty Thursday ~ Biscuits!
I love biscuits. I really do. But for some reason I have a lot of bad luck when it comes to making them. I’ve tried several recipes in search of the best biscuit recipe, and this one that I’ve scrapped seems to have hit the mark. The key seems to be two things, firstly… use buttermilk. The chemical makeup of the buttermilk makes nice light and flaky biscuits. The second thing to keep in mind when making biscuits is do not over mix! I have a hard time with this one, lol. But if you just mix it up enough to get things mixed in, then switch to using your hands to kneed it a bit before rolling out, then they tend to turn out pretty darn tasty! So here’s this week’s recipe, Buttermilk Biscuits! And remember, if you’re having trouble reading the recipe card at this size just click on it to see it enlarged

Hey Mon, Thanks for the tip on biscuit making. I do over mix them and that must be my problem.

what a cute recipe card. Biscuits sound so yummy. My recipe for biscuits involves opening the little blue round can from the dairy section of the grocery store. LOL.

They sound great hun, cute card too. Will test them out. I’ve only ever made the packaged ones and they are never that great honestly. Thank ya ma’am!
