Layout Recipe # 39 ~ Bundled up!
This week’s layout was found while browsing through the gallery at the Sweet Shoppe, it’s by AmyM and is entitled Bundled up! I just love the mix of the cool winter feel yet with a warm and fuzzy feel to it too. The colours in the layout really pick up the colours in the photo really making things “pop”. I hope you love it as much as I do! Please feel free to click on the image and leave this talented scrapper some praise!

What was your inspiration for the layout’s theme or design?
My inspiration for this page was my daughter’s outerwear in the picture. She loves her Dora coat, and the matching hat and gloves. I wanted to focus on the soft colors without it being a completely pastel layout. I love Gina Miller’s papers, so once I had them picked for my background, everything fell into place from there! I try to keep in mind the rule of thirds and visual triangles when working on a page.
What special techniques/actions/effects did you use if any in creating the layout?
No special effects used.
