Layout Recipe #29 ~ Joy

This week’s layout caught my eye over at the Oscraps gallery, it’s by Shen aka monkeysocks and is entitled Joy! What was your inspiration for the layout’s theme or design?

My inspiration for the layout was mainly the first thing I thought of when I saw these photos I took — joy. And I knew that Shelleyrae’s (at SBB) gorgeous Seasonal Spirit paper would be perfect. I tweaked the photos for a teeny vintage feel so the red on her sweater would be less vibrant. I just feel so much joy when I look at these photos!

What special techniques/actions/effects did you use if any in creating the layout?

No special actions or techniques… just my normal photo tweaking and drop shadows which I think are super important.
