Some sweet scrapping and hybrid hookups!

blessthischick-130x145 On Sunday some of you may have noticed my blog’s look changed sometime that evening. While I now loooove the way it looks and I can’t get enough of those little graphics from PC Crafters, I actually hummed and hawed on their purchase quite a bit. I just wasn’t sure if I’d use them enough to justify the cost. With PC Crafters you have to use their program to view and open the graphics, and if you go with the free version (which is what I have) then you only get to see the images in jpg format, not png. This means that I have to select the white area around each image and delete it in order to use them in my layouts… definitely not pleasant considering I paid 5$ per set, to end up with jpgs I have to edit each time I want to use them?! And I can’t categorize them in my ACDsee program so I also often forget that I have the PC Crafters graphics.

But let me tell you, I am loving the 2 sets I recently bought! I used the Christmas Cuties set for my blog header, I used the You Sweet Thing set twice yesterday! I just can’t get enough of these adorable graphics. The ones I love the most are the ones by Kate Honarvar, her little Cuties are the most adorable things I’ve ever seen! So I thought I’d show you today the recipe card and the greeting postcard I created yesterday using the You Sweet Thing set - the Christmas Cuties set was used in creating my blog header.

Also used in creating this layout… a new set of buttons I just bought last week and am loving (and let me tell you I never use buttons, I’ve never really liked how buttons looked on my pages… but these ones are adorable!) as well as a mini kit I got last week by the same designer – Zoe Pearn. I think I have a new fav designer!

All of the products I used yesterday are so sweet they’ll give you a tooth ache! I loooove them! You’ll notice the previewed kits are all ones from the Sweet Shoppe, I bought them during the DSD sale last week! I got soooo much stuff! I bought the buttons, and the rest of the kits shown here were either in their November sampler pack that I bought, or in that amazing Grab Bag that was 3$ if you spent 10$… amazing stuff!

Hybrid Hookups:

Another great thing about PC Crafters besides their amazing graphics is their PC Projects section, they have amazing tutorials on making some great stuff using their graphics! Check it out, here’s some of what they show you how to make:

Those are just a fraction of the projects they have instructions and material lists for… click on the images to find out more about each of the ones I did show you previews of.
