No layouts, just 0 calorie cookies!

No layouts… none, that’s right none. I seem to be in a scrapping slump. I haven’t created any new layouts in a little while. I’ve been scrapping recipes (you’ve already seen those posted) and Greeting Postcards (I’ve shown you most of them too) and that’s it. With DH being away it’s been really hard to get any online time, and I’m so exhausted from being a temp-single mom… I really don’t know how you true single moms do it. Really. You ladies truly are miracle workers as far as I’m concerned.

So I’ve been trying my hand at something I can do while I sit in the living room in between playing with my DD. I’ve been teaching myself to crochet, and have been making my own little sandwich cookies! Check this out, it’s my first…

My DD wanted pink icing in her cookies so that’s my first cookie – chocolate with pink icing. I’ve now made 6 cookies so far, they are so addicting to make… almost as addicting as the real thing is to eat! LOL! *Here* are the ones that inspired me, and *here* is a free pattern to make your own! Now if I can just find some more free crochet cookie patterns! And I’ve collected a few cupcake crochet patterns so maybe one of these day’s I’ll be brave enough to give one of them a shot. I think I’ll have my MIL go through the patterns first and let me know which one she thinks would be the easiest to try first… lol.
