Inspire and Enable Me – Sept 22-23

*This weekend’s winner is Amanda, check out her blog to see a great fall layout! She included her credit list, and it’s linked up to where you can get everything. Amanda has won Caroline’s $5 coupon. Come back next weekend and play again!

It’s here! My first Inspire and Enable me weekend is here! And I need you to make it work! So go on over to your blog, write about at least one layout you’ve created this past week (include an image for us too oooh and ahhh over, that’s the inspire me part), include a list of credits or show previews of the products you used like I do and make sure everything’s linked up to where everyone can purchase it (that’s the enable me part!)! Then come back here and add your name and the link to your post to my Mr. Linky below! You have all weekend to make your post and join in (add name and link to join in), and I’ll make a random draw on Monday morning when I wake up for one participant to win a $5 coupon to Caroline B’s store at Designs In Digital!

So let’s start inspiring and enabling! For more of an explanation click here.

Layout Recipe #14 ~ Loved!

This week’s layout is one that I found while browsing the gallery at DigiShopTalk, this scrapper’s username is Hanne79 and her layout is entitled Loved! This layout caught my attention because of it’s simple layout design, the beautiful soft colors, and the wonderfully chosen elements.

What was your inspiration for the layout’s theme or design?

The inspiration behind it is that I want a baby again *LOL*. No seriously, I started to scrap when I was pregnant with the girls, and did the newborn pictures early in my scrapping days. Now I feel like it’s time to re-scrap them, cause I got a little better at scrapping I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, cause I wanted the picture to be the main focus. It’s such a soft photo, and I edited it some to bring out the softness even more. Cathrine’s overlay in the aged frame pack at catscrap made the picture’s outcome just perfect. Besides editing the photo I spend quite some time at the shadow-work at this one. I think this is one of the better ones, but I still have a lot to learn in that field.

Wasn’t that great?! Thank you for checking out my blog today, I hope this layout has inspired you to mix and match some great products, and stretch your creativity! Please click on the layout above and leave this great scrapper some love!

IdeaDon’t forget that you can subscribe to my blog’s feed on any blog reader, as an added bonus there is a monthly freebie (click on banner at bottom of posts) only seen in a blog reader! And if you’d like to suggest a layout for me to showcase in my weekly Layout Recipes post, just fill out a contact form on the Contact Me page! You can suggest a layout of your own or someone else’s (I always get permission from the scrapper who created the actual layout before using it). Just make sure the layout uses 5+ different products! Thanks!
