Goodbye “me time”…

Ok, so not entirely goodbye to my “me time” but it will be reduced. My daughter was awake until at least 10pm last night just chatting away with her stuffies in her bed, so I think it’s time to cut out her afternoon nap sometimes. I think she’ll still need it a few times per week, but not every day. Especially those days where we are stuck in the house because of the weather and can’t go outside to burn off energy. So today will be the first day that I won’t push her to take a nap. She’s such a good little girl, mommy says it’s time to take a nap and she goes no matter what. Then after 2 hours I go in a get her up, but now she’s not sleepy at all when it’s time for bed at night so naps are going bye-bye, at least the regular basis ones. This means she may be going to bed a bit earlier though, giving me back some of my “me time” in the evening… right now she goes to bed promptly at 8pm. Oh the joys of first time parenting…lol. She’s also going to be getting a change in her bed soon, I want to take the railing off the one side of her crib and replace it with the toddler bed attachement we bought with it. This means we may have to deal with her getting out of bed on her own expressing her independence, we’ll see. But that won’t be done until after hubby makes a gate for the top of the stairs with some press-board we have. Our stairs are waaay to wide to accomodate a regular baby gate so we have to make our own so I don’t worry about Ally falling down the stairs if she gets up in the middle of the night. I don’t worry too much during the day, she’s always careful… I’ve engrained that much into her. But I’m terrified she’ll fall down ’cause when she first wakes up she’s a little groggy and unsteady on her feet, I don’t want her falling down the stairs while I’m sleeping away in my bed. So that’s the latest news on the home-front. I know, I worry too much.

On to layouts, well…. one layout. I was finally able to upload my layout using Karen’s latest kit Out of this World since she just released it this morning. So here’s the layout, it’s another redone layout of one originally created a couple years ago… template used is by Bree Clarkson, I think it was one from her launch pad challenge at Scrapbook Graphics.

Well, that’s all from me today… I have a huge list of challenges I’d like to try and do if I can find some photos to scrap. I’m having a hard time finding photos, with my DD only being 2 yrs old I don’t have many years of photos yet. And I’ve been scrapping since she was born so I’ve been keeping up along the way. Anyone have some photos they’d like scrapped?
